of the third world remains a serious problem (in
spite of the decisions taken at the G8 in 2005)
that continues to have dramatic consequences for
the majority of its populations.
One country can be very indebted without dire
consequences for its operations. But another with
a relatively small debt can be plunged into deep
distress.
This cartoon strip wants to expose as simply
as possible-without being simplistic-the problem
of foreign debt and its consequences on the populations
of the Third World who are condemned to pay with
their sweat and with their blood, a debt that
they never contracted.
