Labour Day Celebrations in CWM
CWM India started new diocesan unit and Celebrating Workers day at Kamanayakkanpalayam, Palayankottai on 1 May 2024
CWM India members visit the people in Prison at various places to counsel them and provide scholarships to their children. We conduct medical camps for them in prison. Most Rev. George Antony Samy, Arch Bishop of Madras initiated the program.
CWM India Kuzhithurai diocese organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Rally and Public Meeting at the Chettiyarvilai unit on 5 May 2024. In this program, 500 unorganized Women workers participated.
CWM Chingleput diocese conducted a May day on " Labour Right" at Madippakkam unit, Chennai on 5 May 2024. Rt.Rev. Neethinathan, Bishop of Chingleput presided over the program
CWM India conducting skill training on "Spoken English and Placement Training" at St. Paul's School Campus, Thiruvetriyur, Chennai from 1 May to 21 May 2024. Rev. Fr. Jacob Albert, chaplain, CWM Madras diocese inaugurated the program

CWM India National Leaders met our national Chairman Rt. Rev. Alex Vadakkumthala, Bishop of Kannur in Kerala on 30 April 2024. We gave 42 AGM reports, a Newly printed Constitution book, HOAC skill training articles and a request letter for appointing individual Chaplain for CWM India.

Young Christian Workers Movement former Leaders meeting at Holy Cross Convent, Pambarpuram, Kodaikkanal on 14 May 2024 to re-construct the YCW India. Mrs. Basma Louis, the International President of IYCW. participated in the program. On this occasion, we handed over the memorandum to her, making our skill training centers.
